Harris County Courts, See For Yourself
Today's docket, court-by-court workload, and who pays what to get out.
Purpose
This tool surfaces individual case data from the Harris County District Clerk — who was charged, with what, in which court, and what bond was set. Three integrated views: a live docket feed, court workload and clearance benchmarks, and a bond equity breakdown by offense level.
Why It Matters
Harris County processes more criminal cases than most U.S. states. The difference between who goes home tonight and who sits in jail waiting for trial often comes down to the bond amount set — not the severity of the charge. This data has always been public. Now it's legible.

Methodology
Individual case data sourced from the HCDC Public Datasets portal (daily tab-delimited bulk files). Criminal filings and dispositions ingested into Supabase and queried in real time. Court Watch clearance rates from OCA FY2024 Annual Statistical Report. Bond buckets calculated from live filing data.
